Adding attendees to an event

To add attendees to an event, you need to use the button "Import attendees" the sidebar down on the left.

As you can see in the menu, you will have 3 options: 1. Import from Contacts 2. Import from Excel 3. Add new contact

Let's see each option in detail

1. Import from Contacts

This is the best option if the guests are already in your contacts data-base.

It will open a window where you will be able to choose which people you want to import from the contacts.

2. Import from Excel

This option is great if you want to import attendees in bulk from an Excel file.

The Excel file can also include their invite address (hotel, company, ...) where you will send the paper invitations.

  1. Download the file template.xls to use as a reference
  2. Pay attention to the column title and order of the .xls template
  3. Please notice that Name, Surname, Country are mandatory fields
  4. Create a different Excel file for each Area
  5. Paste your data in the file, by respecting the column order
  6. Upload the file (accepted format .xls)

A preview will appear, where you can check your data and correct possible before importing:

Once you've fixed all blocking issues, the button "Import contacts" up on the right will become available. Just click it, and you're done!

Please notice that if some people are already in your Contacts data-base, they will not be duplicated: their data will be just updated in case you have changed something (for instance email or job title)

When importing contacts, the fields Title, Name, Surname, Job Title will be automatically Capitalized (first letter in uppercase, remaining letters in lowercase).

3. Add new contact

This option is useful to quickly add one attendee to your event. 

The person will be added both to the contacts and to the event attendee list.
